Bullet Train is an American action comedy thriller film directed by David Leitch and a screenplay by Zak Olkewicz, based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle (published in English as Bullet Train) by Kōtarō Isaka.

Produced by Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, and Antoine Fuqua, it stars Brad Pitt, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Michael Shannon.

Principal photography began in Los Angeles in November 2020 and wrapped in March 2021. Bullet Train premiered in Paris on July 18, 2022, and was theatrically released in the United States by Sony Pictures on August 5, 2022. The film received generally mixed reviews from critics.

Bullet Train Movie Storyline (Plot):

In Bullet Train, Brad Pitt stars as Ladybug, an unlucky assassin determined to do his job peacefully after one too many gigs gone off the rails. Fate, however, may have other plans, as Ladybug’s latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the globe-all with connected, yet conflicting, objectives-on the world’s fastest train.
